1. General provisions

These Terms of Service (the 'Terms') govern your access to and use of the TypingBoo website and related services (the 'Service'). The Service includes typing practice lessons, games, competitions, leaderboards, and profile management.

2. Registration and account security

2.1. Full use of the Service requires you to create an account. When registering, you must provide accurate, complete, and current information, and you are responsible for keeping your password confidential.

2.2. You are fully responsible for all activity carried out under your account. If you believe your account has been used without authorization, you must notify us immediately.

2.3. We reserve the right to suspend or delete an account for any reason, without prior notice.

3. Rules of user conduct

You agree not to engage in the following actions:

• Providing false information or registering on behalf of another person.
• Disrupting normal operation of the Service, or distributing malicious code or viruses.
• Using automated tools or bots to artificially manipulate the leaderboard.
• Violating others' privacy, harassing others, or posting offensive content (usernames, profile pictures, etc.).
• Infringing intellectual property rights.

4. Intellectual property

4.1. All content on the website — including layout, text, graphics, logos, lessons, and source code — is the intellectual property of TypingBoo or its licensors and is protected by applicable law.

4.2. You are granted a limited license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. Copying, distributing, modifying, selling, or using any content for commercial purposes is prohibited.

4.3. Content you submit to the Service (such as lesson performance and competition participation) remains your property, but you grant us the right to use it to improve the Service, produce statistics, and for promotional purposes.

5. Competitions and prizes

5.1. We may periodically hold competitions and award prizes to winners. The rules and prize conditions for each competition will be specified separately.

5.2. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or cancel competitions. If technical faults or fraud are detected, a participant's results may be invalidated.

6. Leaderboard

Your username and typing speed metrics (WPM, accuracy) will be visible publicly to other users. There is no profile setting to hide yourself from the leaderboard, as this is a core feature of the Service. However, deleting your account will remove your information from the leaderboard.

7. Payment and billing terms (if applicable)

TypingBoo is currently entirely free to use. However, we may introduce paid features or subscriptions in the future. If paid services are introduced, we will announce the relevant terms separately and obtain your consent.

8. Service availability and changes

8.1. While we aim to operate the Service reliably and continuously, you acknowledge that technical maintenance, server issues, or internet connectivity disruptions may cause temporary delays or unavailability.

8.2. We reserve the right to change, update, or temporarily or permanently discontinue the Service's content and features without prior notice.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

9.1. The Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

9.2. You use the Service at your own risk. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the Service.

9.3. Typing practice may affect your physical health (for example, hand or wrist pain). You are responsible for monitoring your physical condition and taking breaks as needed.

10. Third-party links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of those sites.

11. Actions taken for violation of terms

If we determine that you have violated these Terms, we reserve the right to take the following actions: issue a warning, remove content, suspend or permanently delete your account, and take legally mandated action.

12. Terminating the Service

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account for any reason, without prior notice.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TypingBoo, its employees, management, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, profit, or data-loss damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

14.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia, without regard to international conflict-of-law rules.

14.2. In the event of a dispute, you must first contact us and attempt to resolve it amicably. If an amicable resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be settled in the court of Sukhbaatar District.

15. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. If significant changes occur, we will announce them on the website and update the "Last updated" date. You are responsible for reviewing changes periodically. By continuing to use the updated Terms, you accept the changes.
